Plant Operations Manager

MAU Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Plant Director to lead the Waynesboro plant's operations, ensuring alignment with the company's budget and strategic goals. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, budgeting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Operations Plan for the Waynesboro plant, aligning with the company's budget and strategic goals.
- Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage plant P&L, overseeing production volume, sales, and EBITDA performance.
- Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service to optimize plant operations.
- Lead and mentor the site management team for both short-term success and long-term development.
- Ensure plant operations are aligned with the company's continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage multiple functional areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
- Solid knowledge of plant operations, financial performance, and technical aspects.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with capital project management and operational budgeting.
- Knowledge of safety management systems and OSHA regulations.
