**About Our Neuromodulation Division**
Our Neuromodulation sector focuses on implantable devices that integrate with mobile technology, aimed at assisting individuals suffering from chronic pain and movement disorders. These innovative non-opioid therapies enable us to deliver effective interventional pain management solutions across the pain spectrum.
**Position Overview**
We are currently seeking talented individuals for the role of **Clinical Support Specialist I, Pain Management**. As a vital member of our clinical support team, you will provide essential technical and clinical expertise throughout the sales process, collaborating with colleagues and engaging with both current and prospective clients. This role operates under general supervision, working closely with clinical and sales teams to identify and leverage sales opportunities by fostering competency and confidence in Abbott's Chronic Pain Therapies among healthcare professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver technical, clinical, and programming support primarily for 1-2 Territory Managers.
- Assist Territory Managers with after-hours support and related activities.
- Build trust and establish strong relationships with customers across all accounts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in complex programming and case support.
- Collaborate effectively with Territory Managers to maximize their selling time.
- Conduct educational sessions and in-services as directed.
- Engage with clients to address inquiries regarding Abbott's products.
- Provide training and support to medical professionals on product usage and technical troubleshooting.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned accounts and monitor competitor activities.
- Develop sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts.
- Attend trade shows and conferences to discuss new product developments.
- Utilize clinical expertise to identify training needs and enhance customer understanding of Abbott's Chronic Pain Therapies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain positive communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Travel as required within the assigned region.
**Qualifications**
- Associate's Degree or technical certification; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably collaborating with patients.
- Strong communication skills to convey clinical data effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in patient interaction within a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with spinal cord stimulation or implantable medical devices.
