Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Faculty

Smith Chason College is seeking a highly qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonography Faculty member to join our team. As a faculty member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality instruction and guidance to students in the general ultrasound discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver effective instruction that aligns with approved syllabi, guidelines, and program standards.
  • Collaborate with department team members to ensure a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
  • Model professionalism in dress, conduct, and communication.
  • Empower students to achieve their academic goals and prepare them for a successful future in the medical workforce.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of four years of practical work experience in the relevant subject area(s).
  • Hold a degree at least at the same level as the course being taught.
  • Current certification(s) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and meet all continuing education requirements set by Smith Chason College.
  • Active CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills.

  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Can independently move objects up to 25 lbs.

  • Must have sufficient hearing and speaking ability to communicate in person or on the phone/computer with others.
Salary:

$45.00 per hour
