Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, including abdominal and OB/Gynecology ultrasound examinations
  • Utilize complex ultrasound equipment and transducers to obtain high-quality images
  • Work closely with radiologists and other clinicians to clarify orders and ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Document clinical activities in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional behavior towards members and coworkers
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasound program or a graduate from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with current ARDMS certification
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Basic Life Support within four (4) months of hire
  • Competency in components of sonography, including routine abdomen, abdomen doppler, small parts, thyroid, and obstetrics/gynecology
