Job Summary

The FLV Capital & Micro-Grant Fund Manager is responsible for the administration of the Economic Empowerment's (EEC) FLV Capital & Micro-Grant Fund, providing access to capital funding, micro-lending, and micro-granting programs and services.

This role involves overseeing funding processing, evaluation, defining funding criteria, qualifications, and risk evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and working closely with applicants to ensure they receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the loan application, processing, and approval process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, mission, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the credit committee to approve or decline loan applications based on risk assessments.
  • Develop and manage loan products that align with the organization's mission and target market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local businesses, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the lending portfolio to FLV's Director, Program Manager, and the FLV's Board.
Requirements
  • Spanish language fluency.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certifications in finance or lending are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in lending, banking, or financial services.
