We are a dynamic construction company seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing site safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive site safety plans, procedures, and processes.
  • Coordinate with agency oversight on safety and security matters.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and monitor ongoing site construction tasks.
  • Provide safety orientation briefings to visitors.
  • Manage on-call support for the site outside of normal business hours.
  • Prepare and conduct monthly site safety committee meetings.
  • Perform annual safety inspections of sites and equipment.
  • Deliver safety in-service training to site personnel.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer for construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or 7 years of experience with a high school diploma and specialized training.
  • At least 8 hours of documented safety training per year for the last 5 years.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent within the last 5 years.
