Your Role

As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing essential operational processes and contributing to delivering results in a safe and efficient warehouse operation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and Providing Excellent Customer Service
    • Working collaboratively with internal and external customers to provide timely communication and instruction
    • Assisting with operations as necessary to ensure seamless execution
  • Executing Manual Labor Functions
    • Picking inventory, counting cargo, product, and material
    • Hand staging and loading goods
    • Using manual equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks
  • Coordinating Receipt, Storage, and Distribution
    • Preparing and assembling orders
    • Moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Managing Sorting and Placement
    • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
  • Operating Equipment
    • Operating a forklift once certified and required
  • Completing and Verifying Forms and Documents
    • Ensuring the accuracy of inventory
    • Monitoring and tracking material and successful receiving and/or delivery of goods
  • Assisting with Identifying Operational Concerns
    • Notifying appropriate coworkers and assisting with resolving operational or service concerns

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
  • Credentials
    • Forklift Certification typically required in most operations within 3 to 6 months of hire
    • Valid state-issued driver's license preferred
  • Skills
    • Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks
    • Basic proficiency in operating a computer
    • Ability to become forklift certified, when required
  • Characteristics
    • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs
    • Ability to perform in a team environment
    • Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents
