Job Title: Clinical Assessment Specialist

Job Summary:

National Counseling Group is seeking qualified professionals to provide comprehensive needs assessments and service authorizations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, writing narratives, and connecting with associated professionals to recommend services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments (CNAs) to gather relevant clinical information
  • Write narratives of the CNA, as outlined in the EHR form
  • Populate the client's profile in the EHR, including diagnoses, medications, and allergies
  • Connect with associated professionals who are/have been involved with the assessed client
  • Recommend services based on the CNA
  • Complete the service authorization process, including submitting forms to MCOs and interacting with MCO care coordinators

Requirements:

  • Resident in Counseling or Licensed
  • Proficient in G-Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
