Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Care Center team at Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and report patient condition to physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
- Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred.
- Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience preferred.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
