Career Opportunity: Engineer-in-Training/Designer (Roadway Design)

Project Overview:
We are seeking a talented Engineer-in-Training/Designer to join our Roadway Design team. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for developing design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for public infrastructure roadway projects. Your expertise will include providing support and guidance to junior staff, managing client and sub-consultant relationships, tracking project budgets, and delegating tasks to supporting staff. You will also maintain a strong understanding of survey data collection, land rights, and regulatory permitting.

Your Responsibilities:
* Develop design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for public infrastructure roadway projects
* Provide support and guidance to junior staff, manage client and sub-consultant relationships
* Track project budgets and delegate tasks to supporting staff
* Maintain a strong understanding of survey data collection, land rights, and regulatory permitting

What You'll Need:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* 1-4 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with recent college graduates considered
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AutoTURN
* EIT certification preferred
* Familiarity with MassDOT standards and deliverables
* Microsoft Office Suite skills (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as an individual contributor
