Senior Mechanical Engineer

AHA Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Boston or Burlington offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical / HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping and layout of devices.
Key responsibilities include making calculations using engineering formulas such as heating and cooling loads and equipment sizing, consulting with Lead Engineer, preparing engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyzing operation of existing systems. Researching equipment selection from catalogs under the direction of engineer and possessing general understanding of applicable building codes are also essential tasks.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent technical training/certification, one year experience with HVAC design at an MEP firm, Revit skills, fundamental knowledge of mechanical system design, understanding and knowledge of applicable codes, and ability to read blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
