We are seeking a skilled Extruder Machine Operator to join our team at Zip-Pak. As an Extruder Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic extrusion lines to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain plastic extrusion lines to produce high-quality products
  • Make necessary adjustments and judgments to consistently produce product within quality specifications
  • Ensure proper equipment set-up and perform quality checks
  • Communicate troubleshooting efforts with team members and supervision
  • Perform line changeovers and cleaning, and perform some preventative maintenance as required

Requirements

  • Extrusion experience desirable
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Stable work history
  • Mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to walk
