Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector is a key member of the Heritage Hotels & Resorts team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our properties. As a Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector, you will work closely with the Regional Housekeeping Manager to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are always clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Train Housekeeping Staff: Directly supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Inspect and Monitor Housekeeping Operations: Conduct regular inspections of housekeeping operations to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Develop and Implement Housekeeping Procedures: Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to ensure that our facilities are always clean and well-maintained.
- Manage Housekeeping Budget: Manage the housekeeping budget to ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Communicate with Guests and Staff: Communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our services.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to effectively supervise and train housekeeping staff and communicate with guests and staff.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required to develop and implement housekeeping procedures and manage the housekeeping budget.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position that requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights. The successful candidate will be required to lift, push, pull, and carry 40+ pounds frequently.
