Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Nativo Lodge in Albuquerque, NM.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol policies.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize hotel rooms, including bathrooms, rooms, balconies, and room furnishings.
  • Keep corridors clean, neat, and free of waste or clutter.
  • Report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment.
  • Resolve guest issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Learn and know the names of chemicals being used, if a guest were to stop them and ask.
Requirements
  • A passion for perfection and attention to detail.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 50+ pounds frequently.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
