Job Title: Systems Engineer

Marotta Controls is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Microsoft technology stack
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, Azure AD, and other cloud-based systems
  • Provide third-level support for high-priority issues and adhere to installation and configuration procedures
  • Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in implementing infrastructure projects
  • Microsoft Server certification
  • Experience supporting virtual desktop environments
  • Technical solution design and planning experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EC2, VPN/VPC management, S3, Storage gateway, Cloud Formation experience
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification
  • Information security certification (CISSP, Security+, CySA+)
  • Defense/Aerospace industry understanding/background
Work Environment:

This role will interact with both professional office environments and manufacturing/machine shop environments. The employee will use standard office equipment and environments that require appropriate eye, hearing, and foot protection.

Physical Requirements:

The employee will be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, turn, and move about the facility. The employee may be required to lift, push, pull, and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
