Steel Girder, LLC. is a leading structural steel fabricator and precast concrete girder fabricator and erection contractor. We specialize in bridge projects in the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market.

POSITION SCOPE:

The Haul Water Truck Driver is a critical role responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment. This position requires extensive travel and living at or near job sites.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Safety First: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
  • Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
  • Lead by example, ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical is required.
  • MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 certification or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification.
  • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.
  • Applicant must work well in a team environment.
  • Travel and weekend work may be required.
  • Position requires extensive travel and living at or near job sites.
