Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Construction Scheduling for heavy industrial projects, focusing on vertical structures and horizontal developments.
  • Expertise in Primavera (P6) and other CPM Scheduling Software.
  • Strong background in Delay analysis, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Water or Wastewater projects.
  • Project and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification.
  • Familiarity with Unifier (document control software).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control on contractor schedule submissions to ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.
  • Analyze critical path, cost, resource allocation, schedule content, relationships, constraints, and milestones to validate proposed work plans.
  • Perform schedule impact assessments for change orders and claims, providing detailed written recommendations for time-related settlements.
  • Execute Critical Path and Earned Value analyses to ensure workflows align with actual and projected work.
  • Monitor project issues related to schedules, presenting findings through charts, tables, and other visual aids.
  • Conduct site visits for progress reporting on construction projects.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to assess work scope and determine compensability for claims, including concurrent delays.
  • Regularly perform project risk assessments to foresee schedule impacts and advise the Project Team accordingly.
  • Effectively utilize project management software and tools to manage schedules and update data in real-time.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in relevant software, including Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Review, assess, and approve or reject recovery schedules.
  • Prepare necessary reports as directed by management.
