The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills in emergency nursing, adhering to established standards of practice and protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or a Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care, with a focus on emergency nursing.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within 6-12 months of hire.
