The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs to develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within 6-12 months.
