The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical practices, policies, and procedures to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in other acute care settings.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within 6 and 12 months of hire, respectively.
