We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time educator in our Pre-K classroom at Greatstart Early Learning. We are looking for a committed, organized, and responsible individual who possesses a genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Essential Qualifications:
Ability to engage positively with young children in a mature and responsible manner. Experience in teaching, assistant teaching roles within a reputable preschool or childcare setting, or extensive babysitting experience is preferred. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. to ensure the safety and well-being of children during various activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute daily lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom, shared spaces, and outdoor play areas.
- Assist in managing snack times, meals, nap schedules, and bathroom routines.
- Provide positive reinforcement and support to children while establishing clear and consistent behavioral expectations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic at all times.
- Participate in all mandatory staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as directed by the administration.
- Adhere to all school policies and local, state, or national regulations regarding child health, safety, and care.
- Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the training manual.
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the administration.
- Follow the schedule as established by the administration.
