School-Based Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support the development of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' occupational performance and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in various educational settings, focusing on enhancing their independence and participation in school activities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote each student's functional goals and overall well-being.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
