Overview


As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Catholic Health Initiatives, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that assist physicians in identifying and managing cardiovascular conditions within the catheterization laboratory.


Your daily responsibilities will include the independent operation of various ancillary equipment in the lab, such as IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, and angiojet.

You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing techniques for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, and positively impact both internal and external stakeholders.

Success in this position requires a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of imaging workflows, effective patient positioning strategies, and the ability to capture clear results for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough and precise imaging techniques for patient positioning in accordance with imaging orders.

• Consistently apply sterile techniques and prioritize safety practices for patients, colleagues, and yourself.

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to prevent operational failures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program required.

• Current Radiology License (ARRT) required.

• Current Arkansas State License required.

• Valid American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist with hands-on scrub experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

• Experience in cardiovascular monitoring, including A-Line and IV insertion, and familiarity with all modalities within the Cath Lab.

Pay Range

$45.29/hour
