Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in a hospital and/or clinical setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic ultrasound services, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting
  • Perform routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Assist patients and transport them as needed
  • Conduct Quality Assurance functions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasonographer Program or 2 years of previous ultrasound experience
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn or Abdomen from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Sonography Technologist License (Oregon)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years
