Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Arkansas Heart Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop effective treatment plans to address cardiopulmonary diseases
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform a range of technical procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics, including patient specimen testing and quality control
  • Document patient information and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved, accredited program recognized by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
  • Current state licensure (Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner) and PALS certification
  • Minimum of two years acute care experience preferred
