Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our team at Deery Brothers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Waukee. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for leading our inventory management efforts and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize obsolescence and maximize turnover.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train parts department staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Wholesale Parts Program: Develop and administer an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit and drive sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive the highest level of service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for and that all regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of supervisory experience in an automotive parts department, with experience in inventory management and customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and managerial skills, with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and drug tests.
