Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver focused support for the Refugee Services Match Grant (MG) Program, including client assessments, intake session facilitation, enrollment processes, financial follow-ups, and guiding clients throughout the 240-day enrollment duration, ensuring compliance with program standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all program requirements within the Refugee Services Department, reviewing and analyzing eligibility documentation for new client enrollments.
  • Generate monthly reports on MG case file quality and maintain effective communication with Refugee Services Programs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments with newly arrived clients in the US and refer them to additional services as necessary.
  • Complete enrollment for new MG cases and facilitate comprehensive intake sessions.
  • Assist clients in completing MG enrollment on the program website, perform detailed document reviews, and provide overall support for the enrollment process.
  • Offer information, referrals, and hands-on assistance to clients and staff to address various needs.
  • Uphold strict compliance with program guidelines regarding document adherence and financial assistance.
  • Initiate requests for financial assistance disbursements for enrolled cases and ensure consistent execution of monthly employment verifications, assessing payment eligibility according to established protocols.
  • Refer refugee families to a wide range of support programs, including Employment Services, Match Grant, Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), English as a Second Language (ESL), and other relevant initiatives.
  • Maintain organized case files by documenting all activities in strict accordance with program guidelines.
  • Provide interpretation and transportation assistance to clients as required.
  • Facilitate airport pickups for refugees when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working with refugee and immigrant populations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Fluency in one of the refugee languages (Arabic, Spanish, Kiswahili, Lingala, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Russian) is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality assurance standards as outlined in program guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with team members.
  • Familiarity with government-issued documentation and services for eligible categories.
  • Enjoyment of working in a diverse office environment with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including occasional late nights and weekends.
  • A valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance are required.
