Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, patients, and Health System employees on a daily basis. You will be required to possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to read and write, and perform non-complex arithmetic calculations.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Operating a computerized cash register to compute charges and assign appropriate cost exceptions;
  • Receiving cash, checks, credit cards, etc., and processing as appropriate;
  • Assuming accountability for cash, etc., at the end of each shift by verifying register tapes and posting necessary adjustments;
  • Maintaining food product inventory, including ordering from approved vendors, monitoring inventory levels to maximize turnover and minimize spoilage and waste;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED preferred;
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English;
  • Basic math skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively greet, interact, and communicate with customers, patients, and Health System employees;
  • Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic and calculations, including receiving cash and providing change for customers;
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy;
  • Ability to concurrently perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coping with frequent interruptions;
