Bankruptcy Attorney

Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a growing firm in the Marietta area to expand further. We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a license in the State of Georgia that is in good standing, ideally at least 1-3 years of experience in financial law, and the passion to help grow and develop the firm into its next stages of success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all stages of the civil litigation process in a bankruptcy/collections environment.

• Conduct pre-legal reviews of documents to verify the validity of client legal claims.
• Review pleadings to prepare for filing civil lawsuits.
• Analyze and respond to pleadings submitted by opposing parties.
• Draft and prepare legal correspondence, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents throughout civil proceedings.
• Travel frequently within the state to attend hearings, including default calendars, motions, and trials.
• Manage multiple cases and projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.

• Licensed attorney in the State of Georgia, with Good Standing status.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to critically analyze documents and evidence.
• High attention to detail.

• At least 2 years of experience in litigation and trial work.
• Proficiency with general computer systems and the MS Office Suite.
