Bankruptcy Attorney

Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a growing firm in the Marietta area to expand further. We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a license in the State of Georgia that is in good standing, ideally at least 1-3 years of experience in financial law, and the passion to help grow and develop the firm into its next stages of success. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, 401K, and more.

• Manage and oversee all stages of the civil litigation process in a bankruptcy/collections environment.
• Conduct pre-legal reviews of documents to verify the validity of client legal claims.
• Review pleadings to prepare for filing civil lawsuits.
• Analyze and respond to pleadings submitted by opposing parties.
• Draft and prepare legal correspondence, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents throughout civil proceedings.
• Travel frequently within the state to attend hearings, including default calendars, motions, and trials.
• Manage multiple cases and projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.

• Licensed attorney in the State of Georgia, with Good Standing status.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to critically analyze documents and evidence.
• High attention to detail.

• At least 2 years of experience in litigation and trial work.
• Proficiency with general computer systems and the MS Office Suite.
