Position Overview: Responsible for managing and overseeing all stages of the civil litigation process in a bankruptcy/collections environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-legal reviews of documents to verify the validity of client legal claims.
  • Review pleadings to prepare for filing civil lawsuits.
  • Analyze and respond to pleadings submitted by opposing parties.
  • Draft and prepare legal correspondence, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents throughout civil proceedings.
  • Travel frequently within the state to attend hearings, including default calendars, motions, and trials.
  • Manage multiple cases and projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed attorney in the State of Georgia, with Good Standing status.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to critically analyze documents and evidence.
  • High attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation and trial work.
  • Proficiency with general computer systems and the MS Office Suite.
