About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Solutions Account Executive to join our team at Aon. As a key member of our Health Solutions team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and effective solutions to support health and welfare benefits strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower results for our clients by delivering strategic solutions to support health and welfare benefits strategies
  • Grow the client relationship through excellent service and expanding the types of services delivered to the client
  • Manage ongoing client relationship and internal consulting team
  • Perform advanced strategy and design consulting, including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, bid/selection projects, health plan management, wellness, and leading-edge program approaches
  • Provide client leadership focused on broader business objectives
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively; coach and mentor team members
  • Build relationships with clients across multiple levels of their organization
  • Understand clients' business
  • Build relationships with Account Executives and team leads from other practices, particularly in administration, to drive shared client objectives
  • Analyze scoping needs
  • Develop business plan and integrated work plan across practices
  • Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Leads/facilitates complex client meetings to measurable results
  • Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members
  • Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members
  • Act as strategic resource for consultants
  • Exhibit thought leadership--understand and be able to articulate ideas to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 10+ years Health and Benefits background
  • Consulting experience (10+ years)
  • Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits discipline
  • Complex project management experience
  • Broad business knowledge/perspective
  • Team building skills
  • Business development experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Active Health & Life license

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
