Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering design, including the development of studies, designs, and construction documents.
  • Perform on-site field inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Assist the construction manager in monitoring the status of construction progress and quality control.
  • Review and recommend approval of shop drawings, samples of materials, and certificates of compliance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and production.
  • Background check required with the ability to obtain an interim secret or secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified as a Master Electrician.
  • Substantial knowledge and practical application of electrical design concepts, theories, principles, practices, and techniques.
Work Environment

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
