We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at GE Vernova. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electromechanical assemblies for turbine components.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test electromechanical assemblies for turbine components, including installation, adhesive bonding, drilling, tapping, torquing, lubricating, and wiring.
- Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
- Assemble, bend, form, braze, tape, stack Generator parts, assemblies, and components on both New Build work and Services.
- Utilize standard tooling to complete work tasks and follow EHS compliance for turbine assembly and test.
- Perform complete and accurate quality documentation and assist in implementation of documentation and process improvements.
- Assist in testing and minor inspections as needed and move material/product using cranes (Level 2) and other approved material movement equipment to perform work tasks.
- Unload and prepare parts/product for shipment and perform Complex repair work.
- Provide on-the-job training to other personnel as needed and complete other daily housekeeping functions including 5s and parts kitting.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability and willingness to work off-shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Desired: 1 year manufacturing experience, 1 year relevant work experience, and ability to convey technical/mechanical ability.
GE Vernova offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay of $25.97 per hour and a top rate of $29.19 per hour. Additionally, we offer a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour, COLA, and General Wage Increases.
