Job Title: Contract and Financial Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the State of Montana's Child and Family Services Division as a Contract and Financial Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the Division and its contracted providers are in compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee all Division contracting, including the development of Requests for Proposals and the negotiation of contracts with program staff.
  • Monitor contract compliance and seek resolution of non-compliance issues.
  • Authorize contract payments and implement sanctions for contract non-compliance.
  • Utilize various systems to maintain the Division's contract and ensure compliance with State and Agency procurement rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Two years of job-related experience in finance, auditing, or accounting.
  • Experience with contract management and procurement or related high-level administrative support is preferred.
