Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planner Manager to join our Material Center Team in Orlando, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and staffing a team of 6-10 direct reports, consisting of salaried exempt/non-exempt salaried and/or represented/non-represented hourly employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the flow of materials and manufacturing support functions associated with Production Planning and Control.
  • Develop and manage budgets, and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce, and internal and external customers.
  • Manage subordinates in creating, monitoring, and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce, and internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subordinates in creating, monitoring, and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
  • Related experience and/or knowledge in material handling, warehousing, shipping, and receiving, DOT regulations.
  • Experience supporting Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Green Belt Trained/Certified.
  • Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SAR clearance.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Previous leadership experience managing direct reports, including supervisors, managers, and/or leads.
  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
