MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing quality images per physician's orders while providing excellent care to patients. This is a casual position working on an as-needed basis out of our Burnsville and Edina locations.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Revo Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in close proximity to superconducting magnets on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures
- Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
- Prepare, clean, and stock work area with supplies
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies
- Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortably
Requirements:
- Graduate of an ARRT approved program
- ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required
