Job Summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

Performs high-quality diagnostic imaging exams

Identifies relevant data from images accurately and communicates it clearly to healthcare professionals

Participates in creating a culture of patient safety and demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness

Verifies patient identification and documentation, and connects with patients to educate them about pertinent information during exams

Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol

Requirements

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

ARRT Certification/Registration

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of experience as a technologist
