Luxury Spa Service Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Luxury Spa Service Coordinator to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton New York NoMad. As a key member of our spa team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and experience the highest level of luxury.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system
  
• Call guests to confirm scheduled services, answer questions about available services, and update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day
  
• Inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues as needed with the supervisor/manager
  
• Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival
  
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, obtain assigned bank, and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
  
• Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization as needed
  
• Accept and log cash tips for employees, balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting, and notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs
  

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year related work experience

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience

License or Certification: None

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $33.45 to $39.36 per hour

About the Position

The Luxury Spa Service Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system, calling guests to confirm scheduled services, and answering questions about available services.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for informing providers of last-minute changes, resolving scheduling issues as needed with the supervisor/manager, and providing general spa orientation to guests upon arrival.

Additional responsibilities include promoting and selling spa/salon services, obtaining assigned bank, and ensuring accuracy of contracted monies, processing guest payments for spa/salon services, and obtaining payment authorization as needed.

The Luxury Spa Service Coordinator will also be responsible for accepting and logging cash tips for employees, balancing, scanning, and dropping receipts with Accounting, and notifying Engineering of maintenance and repair needs.
