About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Associate to join our team at United Rentals. As an Equipment Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Trench Safety branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, load, and unload equipment, assist with deliveries, and prepare equipment for rental.
  • Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
  • Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
  • Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment.
  • Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
  • Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.
  • Some knowledge of computers and phone apps.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Diligent attention to safety.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
  • PPE and work boots are provided by the company.
