Waste Pro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle on pre-established routes, adhering to defensive driving practices and Decision Driving principles.
  • Collect and dump garbage and refuse into refuse trucks while covering a designated residential zone.
  • Unload refuse trucks at the landfill, transfer station, or similar facility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for residents and customers.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Complete Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily, adhering to Waste Pro safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or B CDL for the state in which the position works.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently, push or pull 50 pounds between 800 and 1000 times a day, and work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work 8 to 12 hours in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

As a Waste Pro CDL driver, you will work in a variety of environments, including residential zones, landfills, and transfer stations. You will be exposed to extreme temperatures, noise, and vibrations.
