Job Title: Medical Waste Route Driver CDL A

Stericycle is a leading provider of compliance-based solutions that protect people and brands, promote health and well-being, and safeguard the environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Waste Route Driver CDL A to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Waste Route Driver CDL A is responsible for servicing assigned accounts in the Tractor Trailer combination unit, ensuring that customers' needs are met on a continual basis for various waste pickup and supply delivery. This role requires a high level of customer service, as well as the ability to transport medical waste safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned routes to ensure customers' waste is picked up in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Transport medical waste from Stericycle locations or customer sites to transfer or processing locations, adhering to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and load/secure waste in trucks to service select accounts for the day, ensuring enough supplies are added.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts on a daily basis, communicating any issues to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher for resolution.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A) with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card from a certified medical examiner.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records as required by federal regulation.
