Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist I to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist I acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborating fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Educated and certified in one of the following ways:
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology
- Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology certified by the ARRT, and possess a valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in the state of Massachusetts
Requirements:
- Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required
- Minimum three years of catheterization lab experience preferred
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. Required within two years of start of employment
- No documented corrective action over the last year of employment
- Experience with precepting new employee(s) on at least one occasion preferred
