CenterWell Senior Primary Care operates 14 clinics in the Houston area, fostering a culture of teamwork and a welcoming atmosphere. As we expand our healthcare services, we anticipate the need for Float Medical Assistants to provide coverage across our clinics.

Position Details:

This is a full-time opportunity with benefits.

Clinic Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

The Medical Assistant is responsible for clinical tasks such as discussing patient symptoms, inputting data into electronic medical records, taking vital signs, administering injections, conducting diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, and maintaining cleanliness in examination rooms. This role requires close collaboration with physicians and nurses, delivering direct patient care within the scope of active certification.

Utilize Your Skills to Make a Difference

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual proficiency.
  • Experience in Phlebotomy.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $37,800 - $52,100 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
