About the Position:
Epic Oncology Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join its Radiation Oncology team in a fast-paced Proton Therapy environment. As a Radiation Oncology Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, utilizing advanced technology and equipment.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, taking into account medical history, treatment goals, and potential side effects.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technology accredited program.
- Certification and registration in Radiation Therapy by the ARRT.
- 0-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Other requirements specific to the job/client.
