The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in our healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and leadership to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include analyzing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities:

Our patients, families, and healthcare team members are our top priority. As a RN, you will provide cost-effective care with excellent clinical outcomes, working collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a RN with a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing. While prior experience is not required for new graduates, we do require 1-2 years of experience in specialty areas or related clinical experience. Additionally, you must hold current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and possess BCLS certification.

Work Environment:

As a RN, you will be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, and other infectious diseases, requiring the use of protective equipment. You may also be exposed to other hazards, such as radiation, toxic waste, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, etc. based on the department. Possible exposure to conditions, such as noxious odors, fumes, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation may also occur.

Physical Requirements:

The RN role requires a range of physical activity from sedentary work to heavy work, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting patients. Some carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects involved in day-to-day activities may also be required. Visual acuity, auditory, and verbal skills are necessary, as well as the ability to concentrate in surroundings.
