Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Route Sales Support Driver to join our team at VESTIS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily routes, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate a Company Vehicle: Safely operate a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to various clients.
  • Verify Vehicle Maintenance: Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage Daily Routes: Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Unload and Reload Products: Load and unload products per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review Invoices: Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop Leads: Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Communicate Effectively: Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor Customer Feedback: Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Age and Driver's License: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and an excellent driving record.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment and Safety Requirements:
  • Weather Conditions: Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical location.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload products from the truck without assistance.
Education and License Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent
