Role Objective
The Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy aimed at achieving the institution's enrollment objectives. This position collaborates closely with school and network leadership to assess, identify, and address all facets of student recruitment and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to enhance enrollment outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders to formulate an annual recruitment plan.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on recruitment and enrollment metrics to ensure targets are met.
- Assist in the transition and onboarding processes for new students.
- Engage with school leadership to motivate and train staff involved in recruitment activities.
- Plan and participate in community events to connect with prospective families.
- Oversee internal enrollment events such as open houses and orientations.
- Establish partnerships with elementary schools, community organizations, and other potential student sources.
- Maintain clear communication with prospective families throughout the enrollment journey.
- Manage all relevant student records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the External Affairs team to create cohesive marketing materials that align with the school's branding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in recruitment or community engagement.
- Proven track record of achieving exceptional results.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Experience with marketing design tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Chicago Public Schools enrollment ecosystem is advantageous.
