In your role as a Member Support Services Representative, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding service over the phone to both internal and external members while utilizing various software systems to enhance those relationships.
  • Adhere to service level expectations and maintain consistent call quality while managing a high volume of inquiries.
  • Articulate the features and advantages of all credit union products and services; suggest appropriate products and services to members.
  • Facilitate share withdrawal requests, fund transfers, pre-authorized credit line advances, outgoing wires, check orders, certificate renewals, and the establishment of savings sub-shares.
  • Provide account details related to balances, check clearings, deposits, postings, and statements.
  • Process, document, and follow up on ACH, payroll distribution requests, and TDs.
  • Assist with online banking and bill payment setup, support, and problem resolution for members and branch personnel.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in banking or finance is advantageous.
  • Two years of experience in financial services or a call center setting.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, along with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized, and follow up effectively.
  • Robust knowledge and experience with web-based software applications.
  • A commitment to member service and a passion for problem-solving.
  • The ability to work diligently, seek solutions, and enjoy the process.
