We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver Trainee to join our team at Republic Services. As a Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for obtaining a commercial driver's license (CDL) and learning the skills necessary to become a successful driver.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete a comprehensive training program to obtain a CDL
  • Learn to safely operate a heavy or commercial truck along a designated route
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the assigned vehicle
  • Learn to identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as needed
  • Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Current CDL or CDL permit
  • No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial driver's license
